The reason we are having our conventions together is that we will be considering joining to form one Minneapolis Republican Party.

2021 Minneapolis City Elections

The Republican Party of Minneapolis has not endorsed any Minneapolis candidates.

We unofficially recommend that you visit Operations Safety Now’s website. They are “nonpartisan – united as Democrats, Republicans and Independents” that oppose defunding the police. They have endorsed candidates for Minneapolis City Council. They are an independent organization that is not affiliated with the Republican party.

Free movie at MCRC! Monday, January 16th, 2012

Are you concerned with the poor performance of our city schools and the ever increasing cost to taxpayers with no positive results to show for all the money spent?

Well, we are too! So, instead of our regular monthly meeting on Monday, January 16th, we will be showing the movie “Waiting for Superman” about the sad state of government schools. This movie is well done and highly regarded and we encourage everyone to come and see it. Bring a friend or neighbor who is also concerned over failing Minneapolis schools and wants to see the system reformed. John Cairn, a local attorney and school reform activist, will be there for a discussion after the movie and will bring us up to speed on what can or should happen in our city schools.
